This 1800s jardinière/planter has two brass handles and four brass lion’s feet. It’s rustic appearance shows age-related patina and tarnish. This unique piece has “dovetail” construction found in pots made before the 1900s. Coppersmiths dovetailed seams until about 1900, after which better joinery technology made the time-consuming dovetail process obsolete. 7 1/2” x 6 3/4”; 5” high Cross-posted.
