Signed, Canadian mid-century, vintage pewter necklace, by Robert Larin. Larin was a designer from Montreal who was part of the modernist, brutalist movement in Canada in the 60s and 70s. Larin worked in pewter and other metals. If you search Robert Larin online, you'll find some of his jewellery for sale, but not a lot, and this necklace is a rare piece. It's lovely to wear, and always gets compliments. This is for someone who loves vintage jewellery and understands its value and history. If it's not your style, it would make a perfect gift for that person in your life who loves unusual, quality pieces. I have never seen another piece like this one - it is truly one of a kind. I live in Sidney, but can meet in Victoria. Cross-posted. If the ad is up, it's available.
