$400 · Marantz PM6005 Integrated Amplifier

Gently used Marantz integrated 2 channel amp. 45 watts per channel/8 ohms (60 watt/4 ohms). Total harmonic distortion is rated at 20 Hz - 20 kHz, with a frequency response of 10-70000 Hz. The back panel has 5 RCA stereo audio inputs, include MM phono stage, as well as optical and coaxial digital inputs (see pic). Also has stereo RCA audio outputs for recording. Has connections for 2 sets of speakers, and 1/4" headphone jack with built-in headphone amp. Remote included. Produces clear, detailed and warm sound from a variety of digital and analogue sources (including hi-res streaming) . Well reviewed DAC supports hi-res audio files up to 24-bit/192kHz sampling rates, as well as a CD player, if that's your thing. No USB. Strong analogue amp, with moving-magnet phono stage for all you vinyl junkies. I have been using this amp with a pair of B&W 685 S2 bookshelf speakers, along with a vintage Rega Planar 3 turntable circa 1980, and hi-res files stored on a Mac Mini with a coaxial connection, and the system sounds fabulous! I have recently upgraded my entire system, so regretfully need to sell to make space.
