H&R Pro Building Group of Companies is looking for an Administrative Assistant. This role requires organizational, and administrative skills in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is motivated, willing to learn and has MS Office computer skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, can work independently and work closely with the office manager. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general administrative duties. Administrative Assistant Responsibilities: • Handling incoming calls and greet clients & visitors as needed. • Provide admin support as directed by Office Manager. • Word processing, letters, memo’s, reports, and correspondence. • Helping organize and maintain office common areas. • Performing general office clerk duties and errands, mail etc. • Organizing travel by booking accommodation and reservations when required. • Ordering office supplies. • Provide Marketing assistance / job postings / advertising etc. • Help plan & organize Company Events, Christmas Celebrations / BBQ’s etc. Requirements: • 1-2 years of experience in office administration. • Computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and achieve deadlines. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team. • Proficient time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. • Organizational and planning skills. • Have a valid driver's license and the ability to commute to Metchosin area.
