Shipper/Inside Lumber Sales

Established in 1963 Home Lumber & Building Supplies has grown to be one of the largest suppliers of building materials in Victoria. We currently have a position for a shipper/inside lumber sales. Responsibilities & Duties Answering telephones Receiving orders by telephone & at sales counter Accurately entering orders into system Inside sales Assisting in preparation of orders for pick up or delivery Communicating with customers to make shipping arrangements Receiving inventory and inspecting for damage Ensure packing slips reflect accurate count of inventory received Ensure accuracy of inbound and outbound paperwork Qualifications & Skills Knowledge of building materials Physically fit Excellent communication skills Self-motivated and well organized; able to take direction and carry out duties in a timely manner Able to work in a fast paced environment Basic computer skills Valid BC drivers licence Benefits Extended Benefits Job Type: Full-time Salary: $21.95 per hour
