We’re a locally owned and operated small painting franchise with a focus on sustainability and personal growth. We plant 1 tree for every $100 dollars of work produced and are always looking for new ways to further implement sustainable practices in our business. The job description is as follows: - Duties will vary depending on the project; These may include but are not limited, to scraping, sanding, caulking, patching, masking, brushing, rolling, spraying, using ladders and picking up paint from the store. - Compensation varies from $18 - $28+ an hour depending on experience and abilities. - Hours are full-time Monday-Friday 9-5 (or 8-4). There are many opportunities for additional hours available if you’re looking for them. - The majority of the projects we do will be in the Royal Oak/Cordova Bay/Prospect Lake area. Occasionally we do take on projects in the Sidney area as well. - Employment can be seasonal or year-round depending on what you’re looking for. The ideal candidate is as follows: - Has painting experience: (Painting experience is an asset. However, if you have minimal or no painting experience we will still consider your application as long as you fit the following criteria and demonstrate an eagerness to learn.) - Are physically capable of using heavy ladders, lifting large paint containers, and painting in hot conditions. - Has a vehicle and a valid driver's license. - Is looking to improve themselves. - Has clear communication skills. - Has a strong sense of their own values. - Shows up on time. - Is a quick learner. - Works and consistently and quickly. - Has a positive outlook on life and is capable of having fun!
