This is an impressive model, full of colour and detail. One can imagine it sailing along the coast of old China with its sails billowing in the wind, carrying cargo from Shanghai to Guangzo. It is 27.5 inches long, has a moveable rudder a windlass, several cannons, and a removable set of debarking steps. It has been in my father's home ever since I can remember, which probably was around 1950. I don't know its origins but family 'lore' said that Dad bought if from one of the Empress liners that was visiting Vancouver. It could use some minor rigging updates as some of the older halyards etc are starting to decline with age. You are welcome to have a look at it.
