Busy boat manufacturer located in Sooke, BC is looking for a qualified bookkeeper/admin person to join our team 3/days week. This is not a remote position, however, we do not deal with the public often as we work with a Dealership network. Full training for position. Days could be made flexible, however, hours are set as 8:30am-5:00pm. Must have minimum 5 years experience or combined certificate in Bookkeeping and 2 years bookkeeping/admin experience. Experience with Sage 50 Accounting required Reception/office admin experience an asset Job duties: Answering phones - first point of contact (typically transferring calls or taking messages as phone tree with extensions in place) Preparing to send payments to vendors and maintaining accounts payable file system Requesting payments from Dealers/customers Accounts payable Accounts receivable Annual report Year end preparations Financial summaries (monthly) First contact for accounts payable for vendors Floor planning administrator Payroll ROE’s PST reports Consolidating bank account Consolidating Visa account Tire stewardship forms (monthly) Petty cash balance sheets Maintaining accounting procedure file/important numbers and info Extended benefits & MSP coordinator Employee vacation calendar Hull ID record keeping Receiving/opening and allocating mail and making deposits Tracking Certificate or Origin on vessels Credit applications Keeping a tidy work-space and organized records for business
