A client of ours just outside of downtown Victoria is looking for a PayWorks specialist , for a two month contract. Duties include: * Process payrolls as assigned on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis using the PayWorks system, including entering payroll changes and adjustments as needed for an accurate payroll * Process special compensation such as vacation, bonuses, relocation, personal time, retroactive pay, stock options/dividends as they relate to assigned process levels * Leads/Assists in the development and testing of all Comp Plans * Leads/Assists in the setup of calculation templates for the annual compensation plan * Assists in review and testing of implementation of new companies, pay codes, deductions and new processes in the payroll system, including upgrades to the payroll system * Provides support to assigned payrolls as it relates to questions regarding amounts paid to employees * Responsible for direct deposit updates, child support, garnishments, voluntary deductions, etc. as they relate to assigned payrolls. * Process inbound payroll interfaces and outbound third party payroll interfaces * Assists the Payroll Systems Analyst in Kronos tasks, such as monitoring support mailbox, provide trainings, resetting passwords, daily maintenance, corrections to assist plant processors * Responsible for employee vendor entries for Concur processing * Provide month end reports to the Finance Department * Responsible for adhoc reporting requests, research for GL account reconciliations, training of new payroll processors and other miscellaneous tasks If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you - please apply here today and one of our Staffing Consultants will be in touch.
