5.5 inches long with painted red comb and eyes. on diamond weave basket with beaded edge. Excellent condition. Split tail characteristic of the Westmoreland design. Nice heavy piece with Westmoreland intertwined WG logo used in the late 1940s.
Westmoreland is best known for its milk glass, with 90 percent of the glass produced from the 1920s through the 1950s having the milky white hue.
Will sell Westmoreland Hen separately. 2nd hen on nest is of unknown original but with lovely detail sitting on unusual fluted basket.
