$75 · RARE. 1982/83 Victoria Cougars Complete Set of 24 cards with Hanneson

A complete set of 24 cards. This includes the extremely rare Doug Hanneson card. Hanneson was SUPPOSED to play for the Cougars for the 1982/83 season. A card was made of him for the police set but shortly after he left and never played a game for them. Consequently, the Cougars pulled his card immediately upon receiving the sets from the printer and destroyed them. They thought they had destroyed them all. NONE of them were distributed to the public. I got a couple of them a few years later from a Cougars employee that found them in a drawer! Also in the set are Russ Courtnall, Geoff Courtnall, Fabian Joseph, etc. This was also the first year the Cougars included former players in a set and this one has Grant Fuhr, Barry Pederson, Curt Fraser, etc. Most of the cards are in ex. or better condition.
