$15.45 per hour plus tips. We are looking for candidates to fill the role of daytime servers. The Dining Room Restaurant is a fast paced, full service, 120 seat fine dining restaurant. This position reports to The Dining Room Restaurant Supervisors. The successful candidate will be required to: * provide exceptional service to our visitors in a professional, courteous, and prompt manner * make suggestions of wine pairings to enhance the seasonal entrees we offer * assist in the set-up and clean-up of the Dining Room Restaurant * help create an enjoyable and productive work atmosphere for all staff in the department * be open to change and able to communicate new ideas and developments effectively The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: * a minimum of 2 years' experience in a server role in a similar food service establishment * an excellent knowledge of wines and spirits * strong verbal and written communication skills * positive, outgoing attitude with a passion for food * the ability to succeed in a team environment * operate effectively and professionally under frequently changing and stressful circumstances * an understanding of the importance of attention to detail * excellent organizational skills * Serving It Right and Food Safe certificates These are seasonal positions offering between 25 and 30 hours per week. Shifts are mainly daytime and include weekends; however, some morning and evening work will be required. We will be accepting names until all positions are filled.
