This is a Cider Press for Rent PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD BEFORE CALLING. Apples (fruit) are ground into pulp by a motor and then placed in a cylinder and hand pressed with a crank. The opening to put in the fruit is round and 1 7/8 inches in diameter. Fruit has to be that size to be put in the tube that connects to the toothed wheel that grinds the fruit into mash. The cylinder for pressing is a about the size of a 4 litre can. It can be removed from the unit and used separately. The mash is put in the cylinder and then a heavy duty hand crank presses the juice from the mash. Press weighs about 40 pounds. Easily transported in any car. It is medium heavy duty but quite portable. Large powerful motor. Rental for 1 day $25 (plus 3 litres of juice) *** 2 days $35 (plus 4 litres of juice) 4 days $45 (plus 6 litres of juice) 5 days $50 (plus 6 litres of juice) 7 days $60 (plus 8 litres of juice) Weekend rental $35 Friday evening till Sunday evening. ***Security deposit $350 required cash or check. Deposit returned when press is returned in undamaged and clean condition. Customer responsible for any damage. I will juice your fruit for $1 per liter. You provide containers and take your pulp. This is new to me but I expect it will be quick and most jobs done in a couple hours. Fruit must be press ready - washed, bad parts removed etc. Minimum charge $25. ( I also get 4 liters juice but no fee for pressing) I will bring equipment to your place for an additional fee.
