This (once) high-end camera is in need of a repair. The lens mechanism needs replacing. Quoted repair cost was $120 so we bought a new pocket-sized Canon instead. Now I hope to send this to a new home.
This camera takes the best pictures I have ever seen from a digital camera. It was bought new 4 years ago for $700. It has many automated features but also has the ability to be totally manual. I had a lot of fun with the manual setting.
