Estrin PG-15 (15 cu. ft.) front loading down-draft gas pottery kiln with 2 TR8 Eclipse Burners (180 MBTU Total) and P-10 kiln sitter for sale.
This is an older but professionally made kiln that is easily moved as it is encased in a steel frame and is on wheels. The kiln is CSA approved and comes equipped with Baso safety shut offs (gas supply is cut if either of the pilot lights goes out).
The kiln is set up for propane. I have been firing it off of a 100 gal tank with no freeze ups. It can reach cone 10 in approximately 12 to 14 hours depending on firing schedule and degree of reduction. The burners are whisper quiet - its hard to believe they're on!
Also included in the asking price are kiln shelves and brick used for stilts as well as fume hood and insulated flue pipe used to vent fumes through the roof of the firing shed. It is highly recommended that you have the kiln professionally plumbed for propane and vented properly in its new home.
