This is the older style one, the one at toys r us is a newer look but this does the same thing. A pad goes under the crib mattress and sounds an alarm if there is NO movement after 20 seconds. It also serves as a normal baby monitor. I used this for all three of my kids and it was the only way i could sleep at night, it was such a relief not having to lie awake hoping they were still breathing! It works perfect still, the only thing that is wrong is the antenna cover on the main montitor broke off, so it is just sitting over the antenna instead of being attached at the bottom, hard to explain! The antenna is still there (twirly metal) but the plastic cover just sits on top of it and would slide off if you turned it upside down. Anyhow if you have any questions email or call!
