Description: This is a fascinating little booklet belonging to the Canadian Navy. This little book even has a note on the cover and again inside that says: NOTE - To be collected at the conclusion of each service, also stamped Commanding Officer aept 16 1944 HMCS Kokanee. Obviously someone didn't return theirs. This little booklet is for the ORDER OF DIVINE SERVICE for the Canadian Army. It says inside on the first page that The Order of Divine Service to be used on all occasions except when attending regular Church Service. It starts off with what is called OPENING SENTENCES, then is the Confession, Absolution, A prayer for Pardon, Psalm 19,23,46,65,91,98,&124; then is the APOSTLES CREED, and several different prayers - for the King, the King's Forces, For Loved ones etc. There are then 33 different hymns and at the end the NATIONAL ANTHEM.
