These little plants will gradually grow into a sturdy hedge, and can easily be pruned into the desired shape, either as stand-alone shrubs, or as part of a continuous hedge. 4" pots; plants approximately 4 to 5" tall. Privet honeysuckle (lonicera pileata) has translucent mauve berries in late summer, like amethysts. Box honeysuckle (lonicera nitida) has slightly smaller leaves, and is suitable for bonsai.
