Being an animal lover myself (any kind). I know what I'm looking for in a pet sitter. You want someone caring for your animals exactly how you would. What this does is lessen the stress on the animal after you go. If you keep them in as much of their regular daily routine, then they almost don't think about the fact that their owners aren't there. (I would like to hope) You have to keep them busy. I have cared for a farm in East Sooke for 3 months, with cattle, a dog and cat. I had to devote myself during that stay. I operated a tractor every couple days carrying large hay bails out to the feeders. I no the anxiety you go through while away...worrying about your pets and my references will confirm my love/loyalty and commitment to your animals.
